Behind the Words
I’m Callie, a 30-something-year-old writer living in North Carolina. Writing has always been my passion, ever since I was old enough to read and spell, but writing professionally only became an option when I was forced to decide between a career I had strived to create already in the cosmetology industry and being able to spend the time I needed with my 4 year-old son. Obviously, I chose my child. And I haven't looked back.
I am a dreamer and I love to create. I strive to learn and develop my literary style and voice, approaching every challenge I come across as an experience to grow and develop my craft. I started a new career from scratch to become a writer, pursue my passions and contribute my voice to businesses looking to make a difference. Creating something from nothing is the best feeling in the world, and I am grateful for every opportunity I have had to do just that.
I firmly believe that being an eternal optimist is an advantage in an ever-pessimistic world. Positivity is a powerful tool, and often underestimated. I strive to be the best version of myself in everything I do, and part of that is continuously learning and developing my literary style and voice. I approach every challenge I come across as an experience to grow from, which has led me to pursue my passion for writing. I want my voice to be heard by businesses making strides in today’s economy. They need positivity and hope now more than ever before. Being an optimist doesn’t mean you ignore the bad things happening around you, but it does mean you have faith that things will eventually get better.
As a writer, I have the power to change the world and how people see it. I can use my voice to influence others and make an impact that matters. I am passionate about making a change in the world and I believe that through my writing, I can help businesses achieve their goals.

I am a creator. I create stories that can influence business. I create passion from the reader into passion for what you believe in. I create a world that readers relate to. I give them the sense of being a part of the story, not just an observer. I want my words to evoke the imagination and inspire creativity and action in everyone who reads them. My work is evolving constantly, as I have learned new techniques and strategies for storytelling through practice and research in writing workshops, conferences, and classes. Whether it's copy writing, content creation or B2B marketing my goal is always to push myself as a writer and make sure you're entertained by my voice on every page.
